Beginner Wheel Class

One Month Session

This is a beginner class (13 years of age +) focused on learning the basics of throwing, trimming, and glazing. We will begin by exploring functional pottery forms like bowls and cylinders. Once we have some forms thrown we explore small alterations like handles for mugs. There will be demonstrations and one-on-one time with the instructor as the classes are limited in size. You will be making pots in no time! All items you make in class will be yours to enjoy for years to come. Clay, glazing, basic tools, and firings are included in class price.

These classes have all different skill levels in them. They are structured much like the college classes I have taught over the years. Having multiple levels in one class has shown to be an awesome experience for learning and growth. It usually takes about 3 weeks to see a finished product from mud to pottery.

Cost: $152 per person ($38 per class- 1 class a week for 4 weeks)

Below are the currently class times we offer. classes are kept small to be able to give you full attention as a paying student.
